The “Mobylette” is originally a model from the « Motobécane » brand. It has entered common French vocabulary as a synonym for moped. A “Mobylette”, a “cyclomoteur”, a moped (and also an antonomasia).

« Le garage à tasses » is an association of moped enthusiasts, born on December 14, 2002. Our association carries out several activities:
The mob museum: where more than 200 50cc models from the origins to the present day are on display.
The associative workshop/garage: in which we repair and maintain the museum’s mopeds, and where everyone can come to do their repairs, ask for advice or simply try their hand at mechanics with us…
The organization of moped rides throughout the year.
The organization of a moped day with exchange, exhibition and ride: since 2004, the meeting place for 50cc lovers from the region, and from all of France. Several thousand visitors and enthusiasts are present during this day at the end of October.
The museum is open Sunday afternoons from May to October, check the opening dates (and who can welcome you in English) in the calendar section.
